1. Right of withdrawal

The customer has a legal right of withdrawal that he can exercise within 14 days of receipt of the goods, under the conditions provided for in Articles L. 221-18 and L. 221-20 of the Consumer Code, if he fulfills the conditions laid down by these provisions, without having to justify his decision or pay any penalties.

Concerned with ensuring the satisfaction of its customers, Louis Vuitton offers its customers the possibility of withdrawing within thirty (30) days of receipt of the goods, without having to justify their decision or pay a penalty. In the context of a withdrawal relating to an order including several products delivered separately, the starting point of this period will be the taking possession by the customer of the last product delivered. After this period, the customer will no longer be able to exercise his right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for orders relating to:

  • the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized;

  • the supply of sealed goods (perfumes, etc.) which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection.

To notify his decision to withdraw, the customer can use the withdrawal form at the bottom of these General Conditions of Sale, or any other unambiguous declaration.

2. Returning items

To return the items he has already received, the customer can, according to his choice, proceed as follows:

  • Service offered for the removal of items, at the location of your choice (in Metropolitan France). The procedure differs depending on the delivery service chosen when purchasing online. (1) If the delivery chosen is "Standard" made by UPS, the customer must register his return on the site by logging into his My LV account or by calling Customer Service directly, within the aforementioned thirty (30) day period. , in order to activate the return label included in the package and to agree on an appointment (date, time slot and place) for the collection of the item(s) by UPS. (2) If the delivery chosen is "Slot delivery" carried out by the TEMIS Company, the customer must call Customer Service to arrange an appointment (date, time slot and place) for the removal of the item(s) by the TEMIS delivery host(ess).

  • Return the items by post at Louis Vuitton's expense. If the delivery chosen is "Standard" made by UPS, the customer must register his return on the site by logging into their My LV account. The item must be placed in its original box with the original receipt. The customer must stick the return label included in his package on the original label and then close his package using the adhesive strip located inside the box. The package must be deposited in a UPS relay point located in Metropolitan France.

  • In store (only for an exchange) : As part of an exchange, the customer can go to a Louis Vuitton store (except stores located at the airport ), in mainland France or abroad (except Turkey, Brazil, China, Colombia, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Mexico, Mongolia, Dominican Republic, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam and Taiwan; specific rules apply apply for Korea. It is specified that no return for refund is made in store.

In all cases (refund or exchange), the customer must return the items delivered in their original packaging and complete (boxes, accessories, protections, labels, booklets, etc.). 3. Refund

The reimbursement of the sums paid for the returned item(s) will take place within fourteen (14) days following the date on which the customer will have notified Louis Vuitton of his withdrawal (or within fourteen (14) days following receipt of the items by Louis Vuitton, if the customer chooses to return the items by post rather than benefiting from the collection service).

Reimbursement will be made, depending on the method of payment for the items, by crediting the customer's bank account corresponding to the bank card used for payment or by transfer to the customer's bank account. Pursuant to article L.221-24 of the Consumer Code, the additional costs paid by the customer and related to the choice of a specific mode of delivery will not be reimbursed.

Moreover, in the case of a gift, the right of withdrawal remains for the exclusive benefit of the customer and can in no case be exercised by the recipient of the gift.

4. Exchange

Louis Vuitton offers its customers the possibility, in store via Customer Service or via the louisvuitton.com website by logging into their My LV account, to exchange the items delivered within thirty (30) days of their receipt. The customer may then return the items concerned under the conditions referred to in paragraph " Return of Items" above.

With regard to perfumes, the customer may exchange his product, in its original and intact packaging (the perfume case must always be sealed), in any Louis Vuitton store in mainland France with the Perfumes offer. .

The store making the exchange must present the same category of products as that of the article to be exchanged. For example, men's shoes can only be exchanged in stores that have Louis Vuitton men's shoes in their offer.

In the event of an exchange of items, the original sale will be resolved. The payment of the new sale will be made by compensation with the amount of the previous sale, it being understood that any overpayment will be the subject: either of a credit note or of a refund), or of a re-credit on the bank card, or on the customer's bank account, provided that the latter contacts Customer Service for any remote exchange.

In the case of a gift, the option of exchange may be exercised by the recipient of the gift, it being understood that in the context of a remote exchange via Louis Vuitton Customer Service, no refund may be made in favor of the recipient of the gift in the event of a price difference.

In the event of an exchange of items via Customer Service, the new sale will be subject to these General Conditions of Sale.

As part of the commercial exchange policy proposed under this article, Louis Vuitton reserves the right to refuse an exchange beyond two (2) successive requests. In addition, the delivery costs paid by the customer, if any, will not be refunded to him.
