SUSTAINABILITY
Alphega Malletier is born from the desire to manufacture trunks and travel items with real environmental awareness. Through our actions, we aim to develop a responsible approach to our creativity.
100%
of our prototypes and developments are CAD-based.
SAVOIR-FAIRE
100%
of our trunks are made on demand and without shortage, aiming to bring our stock of finished products to 0 to guarantee the best possible use of our raw materials.
Our know-how is faithful to the tradition of the trunk-maker's trade. Our trunks require the skills of several different craftsmen. Leatherworking, sheathing and woodworking are the core talents behind our creations. With the evolution of technology, we combine the power of computers with these skills to design, prototype and create trunks of excellence. We use computer-aided design (CAD) to study each and every one of our developments. This approach enables us to anticipate and adapt our gestures according to manufacturing constraints, and to produce no waste when creating new products or made-to-order trunks. Everything is optimized to maximize the value of our materials. From the cutting of raw materials to the final packaging of our trunks, the use of our resources is studied and calculated to reduce waste as much as possible.
This new creative process allows us to break the limits of our creativity and guarantee you trunks that reflect your desires and are more respectful of the environment. From ideation to design, our creative process is 100% digital. This boundless creativity allows us to modify all our trunks ad infinitum, in real time, to give you the most faithful approach possible to reality, avoiding any loss of material.
Each of our trunks is designed with high-quality materials that may be subject to supply tensions. To guarantee a more responsible approach, we design, prototype and develop all our trunks in 3D.
RESPONSIBLE CREATIVITY

3D & MODELING
All our trunks are designed and modeled in 3D. All the visuals on our website are photorealistic renderings.

UNLIMITED CREATIVITY
Thanks to 3D and photo-realism, we can produce visuals in real time to suit your needs, with no resource limits.
MADE TO ORDER
At Alphega Malletier, we don't stock materials or over-produce. Our trunks are made to order. To ensure a responsible approach to our creative process, our trunks and raw materials are produced only on demand. To ensure quality that meets your requirements, each trunk is entirely handcrafted by a trunkmaker, from the design to the placement of his initials, the signature of his savoir-faire. This signature is the identification and proof of a unique piece, guaranteeing precise product tracking.
AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED
To guarantee the authenticity of our trunks, we use a unique numbering system, handwritten on our identification labels. This number is kept in a register, enabling us to track your product. To fight counterfeiting and ensure the uniqueness of your trunk, we use radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip technology. They are integrated directly into our trunks, invisible and undetectable to the touch. They record all the information needed to track our trunks:
- A unique, indecipherable serial number
- Date and place of manufacture
- The trunk-maker responsible for its manufacture
- Model SKU reference
Once this information has been recorded, it is protected and cannot be modified. The identity of our customers is not used as an identification element, and they contain no information on our customers or other personal information. Their sole purpose is to read information, and they cannot be used for GPS tracking. Only the traceability of manufacturing is important to us in order to guarantee you an authentic product.
An emblematic city for the layetier-emballeur trade, now known as "malletier", Paris was prized for its ideal location for transporting raw materials. In keeping with tradition, our trunks are made in our workshop in France, located in the heart of Paris.
Made in France is a priority for us. Our trunks are imagined, designed and manufactured 100% in France, in our workshop in Paris.
MADE IN FRANCE
ECO-DESIGNED PACKAGING
Alphega Malletier is committed to using no single-use plastics. This mission is further affirmed by the use of eco-responsible packaging, produced locally in the Vosges region of France and 100% recyclable. Made from corrugated cardboard, this is one of the most environmentally-friendly packaging materials. Made from renewable natural resources, cardboard is entirely biodegradable. Thanks to this natural material, we are proud to say that no trees are cut down in the production of our packaging. The wood used in paperboard pulp comes from wood industry offcuts. In this way, cardboard packaging contributes to the recovery of materials lost in the wood industry.
